Aqua Fitness is a fun way to keep cool and get fit.

A number of different types of water based classes are offered. Classes are 45-60 minutes and most use a variety of equipment to enhance performance.

  • Shallow Aquafitness is a program in which the client moves predominantly in chest depth water. Buoyancy, resistance and turbulence are utilised to maximize the benefits from this unique style of exercise. Classes are suitable for everyone. Aquafitness is particularly beneficial for persons seeking weight loss and wanting to tone up.
  • Deep Water Running is non impact activity held in the deep portion of the pool. The body is suspended vertically with the aide of a buoyancy belt. Fitness, fat loss & increased muscle strength is the main aim in a medium to hard workout. This class can be challenging however beginners and those just starting on the road to improving their fitness are catered for and welcomed.
  • Shallow Water Running is a non impact activity held in the shallow section of the pool based on interval training. Fitness, fat loss and increased muscle strength is the main aim in a medium to hard workout. This class can be challenging however beginners and those just starting on the road to improving their fitness are catered for and welcomed.
